HDMI Compatibility with Sony Receiver

Does the box work with 1.3 hdmi on a Sony receiver? I plugged it in and it's not coming up. Worked when plugged into the tv. The cube is the same but thats because it needs to be 1.4 or better hdmi to work. My app only does 1.3 so is this the same with the small gray box?

Can you please confirm the model type of your Sony receiver? It may be helpful to chat with Sony to confirm which HDMI cables work best with your specific model type.

I'm also wondering if other devices seem to work fine when connected through the same port that you are using for your Ignite TV box? Checking this will help determine if there is any issue with the actual port.
