Will the Galaxy S7 / S7 Edge support VoLTE, WiFi calling

Title says it all. What is the stance on the newest Samsung flagships supporting VoLTE and Wi-Fi calling?

Ok. After they re-provisioned VoLTE on my account, I decided to go into the APN list on my phone and "reset to default".

Voila! The two missing APNs (IMS and XCAP) appeared and VoLTE now works!

So for those of you having issues, make sure Rogers has it correctly provisioned on your account, then go into mobile networks/Access Point Names and the 3 dot menu up top.

RESET TO DEFAULT, and it should then work.

Well I tried the rest of the APNs,  there were four, and there still are 4.

IMS

Netsvcs

RogersLTE

LTE Tethering

The LTE Tethering does not have a rdio button beside it. 

When I make a  call I drop from LTE to 4g...still....on my G7E

When you go to settings/about device/status and look at VoLTE, does it say registered or not registered?

Also, on your dialer, is the video call button all green, or greyed out (is the picture of the video camera white or grey)?

If it's all green, and VoLTE says registered, then it's just matter of it not working in the area you tried calling, due to signal issues etc.

Sorry. Typo in my post. The APN names that were missing were IMS and NetSvcs.

On another note, as I read this, VoLTE is not working again. My phone says not registered again and VoLTE and video calling isn't working.

After rebooting, mine has now stopped working. Nothing has changed on my end. Something is going on here. We just have to figure out what.

OK. I buy the bullet and dig a factory reset just to take that out of the equation. Guess what? It worked...

VoLTE and video calling now working again.

It could just be a issue the area or singal you are getting. Maybe it's the device it self causing the issue

Honestly, it's a minor issue. This phone rocks. The battery life alone kills my S6 Edge+. The only thing I am disappointed with is the camera. Outdoor pics were definitely better on the S6 Edge+. This S7E either over sharpens or just looks blotchy at 100%. They still look good, just not as good, IMO.

Oh yeah i agree!. I normally get 16-19hrs of battery life on heavy usage. The camera I don't use much but still it's great! I have had all the phones before this including the iPhone 6S Plus lol

Oh by far it does! The iPhone 6S Plus did have a great battery ( very similar to my S7 edge) but jusy the UI and i really customize my android phones so I rather have a Android lol. Plus more features

IPhones are OK, but I'd rather not pay more for less features. They can't even use the stability excuse any more, the last few iOS versions have been plagued with issues.

A factory reset fixed mine. I normally do one after an update, but I didn't this time (until now).

Every time I haven't done one after an update on all my last phones I've had weird issues.

Mine is working again now, So we'll see.

AS i said before, it will take time. The same thing happened with the iPhone as well. Took a couple of months to work
