Not getting texts or calls while roaming

The roam like home is enabled. I am still not getting txts or calls. I am in Switzerland. Same problem in france. Spoke to help desk for 32 minutes and all he could do was verify roam like home was on. I walked to go through all settings but it was not in his scope. I am an eSIM and am using that for data. It’s been a week of trying to get my phone working. Desperate. My business is suffering

There is an outage affecting all carriers in Canada and the US at a minimum affecting roaming service in France and other international locations. Try setting your device to 4G, turning off 5G and manually connecting to the roaming partner. This has worked for some but not everyone.

Yes it is working. I think. I don’t trust Roger’s anymore. . I did not get texts from June 21-30 and it took until then for someone on this forum to say there was an issue with the network. Not impressed that I couldn’t find this out for 9 days. Not impressed that I spend 32 minutes on the phone and no one knew this issue. I missed all my texts for those days which is hugely detrimental to my business. It’s pathetic that I had such poor service and no answers. None of my texts during that time auto populated so I have lost business and communication. This was very expensive for me. Hugely frustrated. Angry. how do I retrieve my missing/lost texts for that time?

To be fair. It wasn't just Rogers impacted by the roaming issues. It was all Canadian and US carriers at a minimum. It was mostly specific to 5G depending on the carrier. Network security is a real issue in today's world when a foreign power can literally compromise service for so many so easily.

The he issue is not that it was not working.

The issue is that it took 8 days to find out why.

Rogers had no clue when I called.

My new issues are how do I recall all those missed messages? Why are are my voice messages empty?

Roaming in India is very hit and miss. India has so many regional carriers, it makes having roaming agreements for them all not practical.
