I'm actually not sure if this is a Google Messenger thing, an Android / IPhone thing, or maybe a network thing.
I'm an Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra user (Just ordered a new S25 Ultra)
I'd say that most of the people I have in group chats are IPhone users.
For years I've used Google messenger and have had hundreds of group texts.
At the end of January (26th was the last text received in one of my group chats) I noticed that I was not getting responses from my texts in group chats but I receive all the chats as normal.
After confirming that my texts were not going through to many group chats I've tried without success
1) being deleted and readded to from group chat that couldn't receive my texts
2) clearing cache and force stopping Google Messages
3) clearing cache, uninstalling and reinstalling Google messages
4) switching to Samsung messages as default messaging app and trying to text (and still my texts didn't go through to the group chats that they weren't going to before)
5) oh ya of course shutting off my phone and restarting it.
Nothing has worked. Does anyone have any new suggestions, advice, or knowledge about this issue?

To rule out any usual bug or something on the s20 causing the issue. When you get yoyr s25 Ultra. Do not use SmartSwitch and do not restore any backups to the device to prevent the issue from being carried over, if the issue is with your device.
Are the iPhone's and iMessage users up to date with their iMessage and OS version? Apple a few months back, started intentionally restricting features to devices that are not up to date. Do they have RCS enables in their settings and in the iMessage settungs?
