Good day @dam2,

Welcome to the Rogers Community and thank you for posting!

I understand your concern when you noticed your credit score had gone done following your Rogers account creation.

As per Equifax, ''When a company requests to review your credit report as part of the application process, that request is recorded on your credit report as a hard inquiry, and it usually will impact your credit score.''

While hard credit checks can decrease your credit score, the impact is only temporary and generally minimal, as inquiries only account for a certain percentage of your score. It's important to understand the difference between hard and soft inquiries, and to avoid multiple hard inquiries within a short period of time.

I would recommend you to subscribe to preauthorized payments to ensure your Rogers account only reports positively to the credit bureau.

Cheers!
