"Credit Limit" suspensions

Csaba
I'm here a lot

Rogers came up with a genius money grab idea.
They set a so called "credit limit" on my account at about 2/3 of my normal monthly bill.
So every time they issue a new bill my account gets suspended without warning.
Worst company management ever. I am a customer for about 25-30 years - since the first mobile phone came out. These days I am questioning my loyalty - a sign of mental illness.

Greetings @Csaba,

My name is Corey.

It sounds like your account has Credit Limiting Monitoring enabled but we do have very specific criteria that must be met first before this can occur. If this has happened in error, please accept my most profuse apologies.

I can investigate this matter for you and take steps to get this issue corrected if your account hasn't legitimately hit the thresholds we have set for Credit Limit Monitoring.

Please feel free to send a private message to @CommunityHelps so we can assist you further. For more information on how our Private Messaging system works, you can find out more here.

Yes mine as well.  I laid mine to go below the limit but now I am being harassed by texts saying that I am close to my limit and could be suspended.   It’s like they don’t want our business.

Re: "Credit Limit" suspensions

Good day @Owenpix,

Thank you for posting about your feedback when it comes to your account's Credit Limit.

By default, SMS and virtual dialer notifications are sent to the oldest active telephone number on the account. To change the recipient of the notification, or to opt-out or reinstate notifications, simply reach out to us for assistance.

Opting out is permanent, unless you choose to opt back in. Once this is done, a confirmation message will appear on your next invoice.

You can be automatically removed from credit limit after completing 9  months of service with a good payment history.

Hope this helps!

I am not upset about the credit limit. I am upset that it is lower than my bill.  Once my bill is issued I am already over my limit and will get suspended.  That has happened I was not notified by email that I was issued a credit limit and with all the scam texts it is hard to trust any of them.  And even if I drop my balance to be under I get texts threatening possible suspension.    This doesn’t make any sense.
