Im planning a move to an area Rogers does not have cable, tv or phone service. My current tv/phone/internet will be terminated because of the new location. Can I subscribe to wireless internet where I know Rogers has 5G and keep my current email address?

I would think that this should be possible. However, I don't know how Rogers would handle the transition of your email addresses to a new Internet account now that Rogers has suspended subscribers from setting up new email addresses. I would send a private message to @CommunityHelps and ask them for advice and assistance.

Hi, thank you for the reply, I'll give that a try and see what happens and post how it goes.

Hello again..I tried that suggestion about a private message @CommunityHelps but got no place..I just can't seem to either find that or get it set up to ask the question there. I'm lost on how to do it. 😞

@cjw2 : Perhaps the following instructions will help:
When logged into the forum, click on @CommunityHelps . On the page that comes up, you'll see a link on the top right of the screen to "send a message". If you're using a tablet or phone, you may need to switch your browser to the desktop version. How to do that will depend on the device but a web search should find it. There may be some back and forth required while Rogers get your personal information to look into your account. Personal information is not allowed in this forum.
When logged into the forum, check the envelope icon at the top right of the screen for messages. You would usually also receive an e-mail that you have a PM, but it may have ended up in your spam folder...
I'll tag @CommunityHelps in this post to see if they can provide an answer in this thread since this is not confidential information.

If I cancel my internet but still have a phone subscription with Rogers, can I keep my rogers.com email address?

@kimtompkins : Probably not. Your post was moved to this existing thread. What you can do is move your email address to a friend or relative who has Rogers, change your password, so they can't access your email then continue as before. Check out earlier posts in this thread on how to do that.
The other thing you can do is create a Gmail address and import your emails to it. That way you will no longer be tied to a service provider like Rogers.

Hello @kimtompkins ,
Thanks for posting your inquiry in the community! 🙂
Regretfully, if you cancel your internet service, you will lose any Rogers email addresses which are attached to it. You'd need to make a request to our technical support team to have them moved to an active Rogers internet account. Some customers will use a friend or family member's account, with their permission, of course.
I hope this helps!
