I absolutely hate when companies deliberately hide important details in their product descriptions to take advantage of their own customers. It's not difficult to add a disclaimer like "when in Canada only" to "Unlimited International Text, Picture and Video Messages" and "Unlimited US Long Distance Calling." If I knew I was going to get charged the ridiculous fee of $12.00 a day, even though I had a US eSim running my data, I would have purchased an eSim to run both my data and texting / calling. I can't wait until this contract expires!!!

It's up to the customer to do research on what is, and is not, included in their plan, especially when travelling. There are many different plans. Just as an FYI, all providers have roaming (or Roam Like Home) charges if the customer doesn't include a particular option in their (more expensive) plan. Bell's roaming is even more expensive than Rogers.
