Just found that Rogers charged me $75 for something called ROAM LIKE HOME - International? No idea why. Tried something called Virtual Assistant which is completely useless. Is it there any live chat with live person to explain me why i was charged $75? I guess that's why SHAW and Rogers forcing customers to pre-authorizing your payment option that they can charge as much as they can. I will wait for their explanation before I call Royal Bank to report this kind of robbery.

when you decided to go out of the country, did you make the effort to call rogers ahead of time to see what the charges would be to use your phone outside of canada? rogers likes to enable features automatically such as roam like home, and if u do not want them, you should call and request to disable that feature AHEAD OF TIME before your trip

I was hoping that Rogers will make comment on this extra charge but as I can see there is no one word from them.

@Palilulac : If you were out of the country (you didn't answer that question when I asked), then the charges are legit. If you wish to dispute the charges, then you will need to contact Rogers. They will not respond to any particular person/situation on this forum since personal information is not allowed here.
This is a user-to-user forum where customers try to help each other, but Rogers will not comment on specific accounts here.

I was thinking that Rogers should make the effort to contact its customer or send them a text message with YES or NO for Raom Like Home service. But I guess they leave that to their customers to think about because they are all busy working on Queque Customers in order to cut waiting time? As can be seen waiting time could be in hours therefore how to contact Roger Customer Service? Virtual Sssistant is useless feature.

Also, if you tell the virtual assistant you want to chat with an agent, it will put you in contact with a human 🙂
