Change my Name on the Account

I've been around

Hi! I was wondering if I could change my name on my account without faxing or mailing. I don’t own a fax machine and really find it odd I have to pay out of pocket to send you a letter just to change my name on my account. This all seems so archaic and ironic for an internet company to only have old school communications means. Is it possible to go in person I tried calling but the lines are tied at the moment given the recent events that happened

Regarding having your name changed on the account it does have to be sent directly to our Back Office Team. If you are unable to Fax it in, then you can mail a copy of the documents for verification.
Verification documents include:
• Name Change certificate
• Birth Certificate
• Driver's License
• Passport

 

Also ensure the Rogers account number is provided with the relevant documents.
The mailing address is:
Attn: Back Office Team, 100 Westmorland St, Moncton, NB, E1C 0G1

 

The fax number for reference is: 1-800-219-6473

Hello, I’ve sent in my documents 4 times via fax for the last 3 months and the name change request haven’t been done.

The name change completion time can vary based on the nature of the request. As far as I know it still shouldn't take over 3 months to complete.

Is this still the current contact info?  Address and fax?  I was given different info Assumption Road, Moncton NB and the fax is different

The information you were given was correct. The mailing address for this type of request has been changed since this was posted. 

 

  • Fax or mail in a copy of any relevant documents for verification :
    • Name Change certificate
    • Birth Certificate
    • Driver's License
    • Passport.

Hi there,

The employee who set up my account made a typo in my name (simply changed the first letter of my last name) when he set it up. I pointed it out to him but he said he would change it later but he didn't.

 

I see the way to change the name is via fax or mail but 1) I don't have access to a fax machine and 2) there is a Canada Post strike happening right now so the mail would likely not reach your Back Office Team until the strike is resolved. Are there other options to correct this at this time? Would I be able to go into a local Rogers store to change it?

I was having a lot of issues and frustrations dealing with this as well. Many calls and many employees/supervisors not knowing anything. You can't go in, unless just changing taking on last name of spouse. I tried after they told me I could. I mailed it, I faxed it in, and heard nothing for over a year. I finally had success with finding a free online fax sender. I can't remember the site but if you google it, there seemed to be quite a few. I did it this way and I faxed it literally 40 times to them lmao 🤣 and it was changed probably less than 2 weeks later. I suggest you take the same route to see results. Good luck 🤞
