difference between terms and current service agreement

justin94815
I've been around

Hey just recently renewed my internet. noticed that in my terms of service when I agreed to it had details different. In particular, early cancellation was $10 per month up to $360, however in the agreement in my email afterwards it was $15 per month up to $360.

Doesn't really change anything for me, but maybe rogers should update their initial ToS with their updated one in the email confirmation and ask people to re-agree. That seems like a no-brainer and I don't like that there are discrepancies especially because the majority of people don't really read through.

Hello @justin94815,

Thanks for reaching out to us for clarifications on the service agreement details. We're happy to help you shed some light on how it works!

The service agreement you receive, and its detail, is specific to each offer you accept. This means the details outlined in the most recent service agreement you received, are specific to your actual term contract. The monthly savings and the monthly service fee for this offer will stay the same for the duration of the promotional period.

If you cancel your Rogers Xfinity Internet contract before the end of the term, you'd need to pay early cancellation fees. We calculate the fees based on the number of months remaining X $15, plus applicable taxes.

Hope this helps!
