Catch the latest from Crave

Lately when I go on the Rogers website I see "Catch the latest from Crave, HBO, Max and more. Add Crave to your Ignite TV and enjoy 2 months on us. $22/month thereafter." Looks like the only way to get it is to call.   So I call and I'm told it's not available to me, she puts me on hold for a bit and then comes back and says wait a couple days and it will be made available to me.  A week later and still not available.

Is the offer advertised on the website or do you see it tagged on your account when you acsess your MyRogers profile? If it's an advertised offer, you may want to check the details to confirm if you're eligible for the offer.

@mordinxx  My parents recently took advantage of this promotion and signed up for Crave.  You cannot sign up through MyRogers; you need to contact Rogers and have them add it to your account.  It says to do this by telephone but I can confirm that the @CommunityHelps  team can also add it to your account.

 

If you were a Crave subscriber in the past, you may not qualify.  My parents received an email informing them of the offer.  If you did not receive that email, you may not be eligible.  Also, if I remember correctly, the offer for two free months of Crave expired at the end of September.

 

I would send a private message to @CommunityHelps .  They can confirm whether or not the promotion is still active and whether or not you qualify.  If the Crave promo is available to you, they can add it to your account.

I did contact Roger at the number in the ad.  There is no expiry date listed on the website.  https://www.rogers.com/crave

I checked https://www.rogers.com/promotions/tv and that page still shows the Crave promo.  It also has a "Show details" section that says:

 

Offer available within Rogers cable service area (where technology permits) to new and existing Rogers Ignite TV customers who do not currently subscribe to Crave or have not been a subscriber within the last 90-day period prior to redeeming this offer. Offer subject to change without notice.

 

Send a PM to @CommunityHelps .  They can confirm whether or not you are eligible for this deal and/or look into why the agent, that you last spoke with, was not able to activate it on your account.

I do not see the Crave offer at the link you provided.  https://www.rogers.com/promotions/tv   But I am an existing Rogers Ignite TV customers,  I do not currently subscribe to Crave and have not been a subscriber within the last 90-day period.  So I can't see any reason why I wouldn't qualify.

@mordinxx : if you're using a device instead of a computer, switch the browser to desktop version of that website.  How you do that will depend on your device/browser, but a quick web search should find out how.  That can come in handy for lots of websites.

I'm on a laptop.  What I see shouldn't change depending on what I'm viewing it on.  If it does that's poor design.

There are reasons why a mobile version of a website can be different from the "desktop version" since screen space is limited on most small devices.  There can also be minor differences between browsers on all devices.

 

Nevertheless, that doesn't appear to be the issue here.  What I suspect is that a setting in your laptop's browser, like an extension, or pop-up blocker, or something else might be interfering with you seeing the entire page.  Perhaps the website image is from cache instead of "live". Clear your cache?  I suggest you try a clean (different) browser. See also the following tips for issues with websites.

PS.  I'm not sure if location plays into what's displayed.
