When I got the deal from a salesman, I was told my modem that I will be getting will last for 2 years only, then I will have to work out a different deal. Now, 6 months prior to the 2 years I found a different service provider with a better deal. (Before this I checked my email looking for the Terms with Rogers when I got my service activated).
When I went to cancel my service, I was told to pay an early cancellation fees.
So I called in to dispute the charge and also asked for the agreement I had with them. After 5 hours of talking with the representatives, they told me that they cannot provide me a copy of the agreement. I also found out that the early cancellation charge is $10 per month but in my special case it's $20 per month.
