I can't install the Rogers version but you appear to have a way to get the Shaw one working, any help appreciated

@CommunityHelps any chance someone is looking at this?

The Shaw one will install and if you put the code into Rogers activation site instead of Shaw it reports is added but all I get is a working guide - none of the channels work using the Shaw app with a Rogers account on my devices

It seems like Rogers is ignoring this issue. Maybe some 1 star reviews will help get their attention.

Those of you having the problem - also contact @RogersHelps on twitter.

Can you send me a message how you did it. Every time I go to download it says incompatible on both firesticks the sticks are less then a year old

@RogersCorey you mind weighing in on why the Rogers Xfinity app on Amazon Fire TV now shows unavailable to myself and seemingly everyone else in 2025 after you announced it working only a month ago? i just bought a fire stick two days ago after a Rogers rep specifically recommended it to me over paying for another box.

Our teams are aware of the issue and are working to resolve as quickly as possible.

I second this. Rogers sales rep was quick to suggest the xfinity app.....or a $17/Month rental on another box....apparently the boxes "went up in price" i think there is more gold in them now. How is it that bell has figured this out long ago and rogers major steps behind.

Yeah....sure. $17 for a box that will freeze when watching 4k channels.

I went to rogers.com/activate
logged in, got the app working, tv guide working, NOTHING WOULD LOAD! So no the app still doesnt work.

Unfortunately it appears that device compatibility for this app has been removed on all devices so it can no longer be installed. If you were able to install it beforehand the app will continue to work for now.

I called yesterday and a Manager informed me that they're working on resolving the issue and estimated that it should be fixed within the next week. He assured me that I will be able to use my firestick with the Rogers xfinity stream app, just like the 2 Rogers sales reps informed me prior to signing up.

Resolved finally! I was just able to install and activate the app on my firestick. Hopefully everyone else has the same success. Good luck!

My Rogers Xfinity Stream app for Amazon FireStick just updated yesterday and works very nicely ... but there is one aspect that I find very annoying and that is that I cannot reposition [move ] the app to the Home screen ... All the other FireStick apps can be repositioned <> but not this one <> RogersCory perhaps you can alert the developer and have this much needed capability done ASAP .... Thanks ...

I just installed the app onto a new Firestick with no issues and I can also move it to the Home Screen.
On a separate note, can someone confirm if the download function (for offline viewing) is available as per the app description?

My mistake … I was not doing it the right way … indeed the app can be moved to the Home Screen …
my apologies to Rogers and the community …
