I’m having the same issue and not able to find Xfinity (non-Shaw) for the fire stick or google play. I am moving all services to rogers after the field rep assured me after checking with his manager Xfinity for fire stick was just released a few days ago so no need for boxes feeling misled . What is the work around?

Keep in mind when you use the app on firestick ypu lose alot of the functionality that you get with the streaming box.
Restart a show from the guide, voice control,  start to watch a show when the  recording is in progress and more.

then why does it say this on rogers webpage?

fire stick isnt the same as fire tv? google says it is - ill go buy a fire tv right now, just trying to figure out why you say its not supported but the rogers.com webpage says it is?

To use the Rogers Xfinity Stream app on Fire TV, you must have a Shaw Direct subscription and an Amazon Fire TV branded streaming device.

It is not currently supported for Rogers customers.

I have a fire TV 4K and app is only available for Roger’s Shaw, and tried the links to set up and after activate screen getting a message to update fire TV which is up to date. I would not rush out to purchase a fire TV just yet. The Roger’s field agent and manager both assured me the fire stick app is available last week… maybe just a matter of time

Do you mind clarifying what app you are getting to work - is it the app you used the one via YouTube tutorial discussed here or is it an app available for download?
