How can I force an update on Ignite TV?

I have skipped the update a couple of times and now I want to know how to manually update.

How do you know you have "skipped" updates? You can't manually update the system automatically updates you. You can looking in settings as to the applicable time it will update if necessary usually it is set at 3am

I know because while watching TV, a pop up message appeared on the screen. It stated to update now or skip. This happened on 2 different days.

Both times I selected skip.

Stop skipping then.
Check your settings...preference...general..daily update time. Mine says 3 to 4 am.

No you can not force an update.
