With Rogers Streaming, you only have access to the apps that Rogers provides. That gives you access to the major streaming platforms and if you subscribe to Ignite TV, you can search for and access content that is available on the Ignite TV service AND supported streaming platforms. Also, if you rent movies, those fees get charged to your Rogers account. However, you cannot add or delete apps, so the Ignite Entertainment box does not offer much flexibility.
With Roku, you have access to much more free content and have access to a huge selection of apps. If you don't subscribe to Ignite TV, there is not really any benefit to using the Ignite Entertainment box for streaming over the Roku.
