I just got Rogers Ignite TV and Internet 3 days ago. I have 4 TV's, and I have been able to set up my Ignite boxes on all but 1 TV. When I try on this Sony TV (purchased in 2007), I get a square green screen. This is what I have tried so far:
I am at a loss here, and am hoping someone has a suggestion. I don't really want to call Rogers, because I have spent over 2 hours on the phone with them in the last 2 days, trying to get the Ignite service to work, and frankly, I'm exhausted and not up to it today.

@Giraffee66 : A few comments/questions:
1. What is the exact model number of the Sony TV?
2. Have you tried 1080i?
3. Have you tried a different HDMI cable on that TV? One that works on another TV?
4. Have you tried a different input on that TV?
5. Have you updated the firmware on the problem TV?

OK, I just downgraded the resolution on that Ignite box to 720p on a working tv. When I hooked it back up to the Sony TV (which is HD, 1080), I still get the green square. 😞

Well, I'll be - it was a dud HDMI cord (one that came with the new Ignite cable box). Huh. Thank you so much 57 for the suggestion!
