Anyone having problems with IgniteTV boxes while in Bridge mode?

I had this problem a couple of days ago and posted on the Rogers subreddit.  It seems like several others are having the same issue as are Shawgers subcribers.  I was able to fix it by taking the box out of Bridge mode for about a half hour.  When I switched back to Bridge mode enabled it worked.

I saw the same. When the STBs rebooted overnight, they would not register. To fix the problem, all I had to do was reboot my firewall so that it could renew its WAN DHCP leases.

Problem solved in 30 seconds.

That's the only thing I didn't try.  I rebooted my gateway and STBs, but that didn't help.  Wouldn't rebooting the Gateway renew the WAN DHCP lease, or would you still need to do your router/firewall?  I have a Unifi Ubiquiti USG as my router.

It depends on the implementation of your router/firewall.

These sorts of problems/glitches can happen when Rogers does overnight maintenance and their routing infrastructure loses track of address space allocation — sometimes just the IPv6 PD — and cannot route packets back to you correctly. Rebooting your router/firewall is usually enough and the fastest way to get things working again

Thanks, I will try this the next time that I have problems.
