Removing from favorites

I recently got a new package from Rogers. My previous package had channels marked as favourites that i don't get anymore but they still show up on my tv as favourites. When I go to the info on those channels i dont get an option to remove from favourites. Any ideas how i can remove these or clear all favourites and start over.

Although some channels can be removed without this step, some others seem to require you to resubscribe, remove the channel from favourites and then unsubscribe.

Edit - my suggestion would be to go through the list of channels that you wish to remove from favourites and see which ones you can and cannot remove in the normal manner.

When I di that it comes up as Super Sports Pak $35.95/month. When I tried to unsubscribe I wasn’t able to I had to get in touch with Rogers to unsubscribe. I also tried to get help from Rogers technical support and they kept giving the same response to unsubscribe. I don’t think they understood the situation.

Perhaps I didn't make myself clear, or perhaps you didn't understand the solution in the thread for which I provided the link. Also, there seemed to be some cross-purposes discussion with Rogers previously.

To remove the problem channels from your favourites list, you need to subscribe to the channels that you wish to remove from favourites again. While you are subscribed, you can then remove them from your favourites and then, once removed from favourites,  unsubscribe those channels again. You may be able to do this while in touch with someone from Rogers while they are on the phone - it only takes a few minutes.

Steps - Subscribe, remove from favourites, unsubscribe, all at no permanent cost obviously, since their system doesn't work properly for favourite channels.
