Super slow network 5g and LTE

Thought i would share my issue with extremely slow network speeds on Rogers in the GTA and the ultimate resolution I was given from support save others some time.

I was consistently getting 0.2 Mbps speeds on both LTE snd 5g networks. I called support and did the troubleshooting, which didn't fix anything. My ticket to escalated and was “delayed” for a week. So i called again. The support person went through the same troubleshooting steps again, opened another ticket (since she ignored all my comments about the previous ticket and that i was just looking for a status update). I then got multiple automated messages saying both my tickets were “delayed” and then two saying both my issues were closed with the resolution “there is no problem”.

So the resolution then is to switch to another provider or deal with super slow speeds.

Hoe this helps someone else having the same issue.

I plan to stick around

they pretty much did the same thing to me. i ended up filling a complaint with CCTS about my issues. rogers admitted they cant fix the issue until the build a new tower in the area.
