5G keeps dropping, even though Rogers coverage maps says I'm in a 5G+ area, My cell keeps dropping down to LTG or LTG+. My cell is a 5G like most are that have been purchased in last while.
Anywh else the 5G pr 5G+ keeps connected expect for the odd time, Yet at home, few minutes after turn on or select 5G preferred, still looses connection to it
Could it be that the LTE tower is closer than the 5G by a 2 blocks or so?? If that is so, shouldn't Rogers not mark it as a 5G area. It's a little misleading and false advertising? No???

Hi @Patrickusa,
Hope you are doing well today?
Is it possible for you to tell me more about your phone?
There's few options to check, but they depends on the kind of device you do have.
The quickest option would be to disable for about one minute your networks by enabling the Airplane mode, it will disconnect the phone from the mobile network that is probably still connected to the most powerful antenna it cross path with and reconnect it to the nearest antenna as you enable it once more.

Hey @Patrickusa,
You can check over your settings if 5G auto/activate is enabled.
Just follow those steps :
Be sure to restart your phone afterwards to put the settings into action formely.
Let me know if it helps 🙂
Cheers,
