wifi keeps disconnecting

I'm in Oromocto, NB and trying to play Diablo iv but it's not very fun when I'm getting disconnected every 20 minutes.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I'm sorry to hear about the issues you're facing. I can imagine how bothersome this is. I do have a few questions for you if you don't mind:

Have you tried restarting the modem?

Do you experience this issue on a wired connection?

Does this issue occur while playing any other games online?

Hi.  Thanks for the reply.  I've restarted the modem.  I'm only playing wireless as I don't have a long enough cord although that is an option.  It doesn't happen during other games as I've tried to see it would do that.  I was disconnected last night but it's been good so far today.

Looks like it's happening again.  Why is the service so intermittent?  I can play for about 20 minutes and then lose my wireless. After a couple of minutes it comes back on.  I'm away from home quite often or I'd probably complaining more often.  For $130/month, I should get more reliable service.

Intermittent WiFi connection can certainly cause some frustration. However, if your wired connection is working fine, we know there are no issues with your overall Internet connection.

Are all your devices disconnecting at the same time, or just some of them?

Does it appear that disconnections are happening in one part of the house more than the another? In this type of situation, it would usually mean that your modem is not centrally placed or you may need WiFi pods, in order to fill in the gaps in coverage.

Kindly, let us know the troubleshooting steps you usually perform, when this happens, as it could potentially help us rule out what may be causing this.
