There is really no way to tell. Are you experiencing any specific problems with your current gateway that you expect (or hope) the XB8 will address?
Even if Rogers does have stock, there is no way to specifically request an XB8. If you are experiencing problems with your service and need to have your gateway replaced, they could send you any gateway that is supported on your speed tier, which could also result in an XB8 being replaced with an XB7.
