TP Link POE no longer working after switch from Hitron Coda modem to XB7

Hello - We recently switched our accounts (multiple homes) from the legacy rogers internet service which leveraged the white tower modems (Hitron) to the new ignite internet service (XB7 modem). After the switch our cameras which are linked to a POE no longer work. Does anyone have any insight into why?

@yaya22 I don't think that your POE LAN switches or injectors would be causing any problems.  How are do you have the network interfaces on the IP cameras configured?  By default, the Ignite gateways use the 10.0.0.x IP address range on their internal LAN, and this is a different range than what the Hitron gateways use.  If your cameras (or the software that you use to access them) are in any way configured to use 192.168.x.y IP addresses, then you will need to make some configuration changes.  If the cameras obtain their IP addresses dynamically, then they may simply need to be rebooted.

@-G- any idea on how i would go about and make the configuration changes? Do i need to make the changes to the modem itself or the cameras? Tricky part is that i can no longer access the camera software as i would typically access it via the 198. ip address. Also, would port forwarding address the issue?

@yaya22 You can reconfigure the Ignite gateway to use the same IP address scheme as your old Hitron modem by going to the "Local IP Network" settings and changing the gateway's IPv4 address to 192.168.0.1

This should allow you to regain access to your cameras.  However, also keep in mind that making such a change will complicate tech support somewhat going forward since those helping you may assume that you are using default settings.
