Rogers internet keeps disconnecting

I've been around

I have been a loyal Rogers internet customer for almost three years, but recently, the service has become unreliable and frequently disconnects.

Urgent Issue: My phone and computer often lose network connectivity. At times, my phone displays “incorrect password,” despite the password being correct.

No Changes Made: I have not moved the router, touched the cables, or changed the power slot.

Troubleshooting Attempts: I have restarted the router and powered it off and on, but the issue persists.

Immediate Resolution Needed: This problem is extremely frustrating and is severely impacting my ability to work from home. Please provide a solution ASAP.

I can absolutely understand how this would be frustrating, especially if it's impacting your ability to work from home.

 

If your phone is displaying an incorrect password error, there may be an issue with the saved WiFi information. I would suggest that you have all your wireless devices "forget" the network then reconnect from scratch as if you're connecting for the first time.

 

Is your PC also connected via WiFi or is it connected via Ethernet? Do you know if this disconnection impacts Ethernet connected devices as well?
