I currently have a Rogers XB7 Modem and was looking at getting a Range Extender to help me get the best speed/compatibility from the Rogers modem.
I was looking at the TP Link site and see the following options:
https://www.tp-link.com/ca/home-networking/range-extender/
Some of these guys can get pricey and I was looking at the following options:
Option A ($70): https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B088H2FCHL/?coliid=I3OZ2CUJJ82DH9&colid=2U8WH7KDMPR6B
Option B ($50): https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B08RHD97QY/?coliid=I3S1NH77D5YJ57
I am open to other models as long as the pricing is not too far off. I know Rogers offers Pods at $5 a month but from what I read, the speed is 600 Mbps and their antenna's are not that great.
Info: https://www.rogers.com/support/internet/how-to-install-use-ignite-wifi-pods
I think I would get better performance from the TP-Link and wanted to make sure I get something that works and matches the specs of the Rogers modem. The devices that would be connecting to it will be the Rogers Ignite TV boxes, Roku Streaming Stick 4K, Wyzecams, Iphone, Pixel Cell Phones, iPad, etc.
Thanks

If you can, try avoiding Range Extenders, the speed is split as it gets to it. If you can afford it, try a Mesh network. I personally have The D-Link Deco's and its been superb.
