New IPhone 16promax, can’t set up mail account!

I recently bought a new iPhone pro max 16. When I try to create my email account through the mail app, it brings me to rogers member credentials website. It says I have to reset my password, then when I click reset it says contact rogers due to enhanced sign in methods. Why should I have to be inconvenienced to call rogers , wait on the phone to do something as simple as create my new mail account on my new phone. It works no problem on my previous phone. This is absolutely ridiculous. Please let me know of a solution. As this is really frustrating. I have to use my old phone to check my emails.

No need to create a new email account, you can use your existing one!

Yeah why are you creating a new email account? just sign in to your existing one, no need to create an email account if you already have one.
