Gateway Password Changes when switch to Xfinity?

Hi - does anyone know if Rogers changes your Gateway Password (network passwords) when they switch you from Ignite to Xfinity?  I am trying to connect my apple ipad and it keeps telling me my network password is incorrect (this is the P/W I have had since getting Ignite) (and I have quadrupled checked my spelling!!!).  Thanks for any advice and Happy New Year all.

It was a name change only, no physical equipment was swapped out. In name only.

Hi - thanks very much - I'll keep trying to figure out why my old Ipad Wi-Fi is good and my new one won't accept the password.  Cheers.
