I need to disconnect a device, message keeps informing me that I need to disconnect device first.

How do I disconnect a device from the Shaw Ignite app?

Hello @Blade_27,

 

Welcome to the Rogers Community Forums. 

 

Follow these steps to remove (unlink) a smart device from Ignite HomeConnect.

 

  1. Open the Ignite HomeConnect app.
  2. Sign in with your Shaw ID username and password.
  3. Select the Home tab in the bottom navigation.
  4. Select the plus sign (+) at the top right corner, then select the device you want to unlink.
  5. Select the Unlink all button at the bottom.

Unlinking a device will remove your ability to control it from the Ignite HomeConnect app. The device will still show up in the Wi-Fi tab of Ignite HomeConnect, as long as it's connected to your home network.
