Can I switch to a different provider and keep my Rogers email address. I heard that you can pay a minimal fee to keep.

I don't believe there is a "minimal fee" option.  Not sure where you heard that.  The only way to ensure you keep the e-mail address is to transfer it to a friend or relative who is still on Rogers.  You can then programme your own password for your security.  Many people take the opportunity to switch to something like Gmail which has better spam filtering and doesn't need to change when you change providers.

Thanks was actually told this by the replacement provider (Bell). I was surprised with their solution. I am keeping Rogers for Wireless so still wondering if I can keep email address.

Not sure about that.  Probably not, because I believe that the e-mail address is associated with Rogers Internet. So, no Rogers Internet, no e-mail.  Perhaps someone from Rogers will come on here and confirm.  Or you could try "chat".
