Assitance in forward mail from custom mail server through rogers

Wilkins
I've been around

I'm looking for a bit of help setting up rogers as my SMTP Relayer, I've looked around the community and figure out the port and hostname (587, smtp.broadband.rogers.com) but outgoing mail never gets delivered. Rogers server just closes the communication. Does Rogers server require authentication? Its it not possible to do this? Any help help would be appreciated

Isn't the port 465?  A few of us using e-mail clients (like Outlook) have had difficulty sending the past few days, as discussed in the following thread.

Are you using an e-mail client? Link below for settings, click SMTP settings?
