We are always looking for ways in which to provide our customers with the ultimate experience. We are happy to share that Ignite TV customers on Flex plans can now change their channels anytime.

To swap your Flex channels, visit Rogers.com. You can do it quickly and easily, any time of day or night. Here’s how:

1.  Sign in to MyRogers.

2.  Select TV.

3.  Select Exchange Flex Channels.

4.  The Available Channel section shows the entire Flex Channel catalogue. Your current Flex Channels will have a checkmark at the top right corner of the channel tile:

For example, if CNN is part of your Flex Channel catalogue, and you prefer it instead of CTV News, simply uncheck CTV News and select CNN instead. You can also click the info icon (i) to learn more about each channel.
Note: Make sure you remove and add the same number of Flex Channels, or the exchange will be unsuccessful.

6.  Once you’ve made your selections, select Exchange.

7.  Once the ‘success’ message appears, you can start watching your new Flex Channels.

How do you feel about these new changes? What else would you like to see implemented? All feedback and comments are welcome below!

I'm sure that this will be a welcome change for many.  There are some channels that are rarely offered as free previews, and who knows how people are reluctant to try out new channels for fear that they will be stuck with a channel that they don't like for 30 days until they are allowed to exchange Flex Channels again.

I'm an advisor

I rarely read the blog, but I never thought this would happen.

I think I made a snarky comment in June,  that Rogers should let people Flex at least 5 channels per week, rather than a one-time monthly swap.

I only looked here because somebody  (on another website) who seemed to know a lot about Rogers, claimed that the number of FLEX swaps was now unlimited eacI month.

The next step would hopefully be to allow one FLEX channel swap per month, with a FLEX channel from a completely different plan that had different FLEX channels.  I'd call it FLEX+1 and then see how long it would take for the entire FLEX system to implode (due to overenthusiastic users).

After 30 days, or perhaps at the begging of the next calendar month, the FLEX+1 channel is removed and replaced with the regular FLEX channel you swapped out of your plan. It would be like a Free channel Preview that you could keep going forever, or at least once every two months. You could keep changing your FLEX+1 channel each month, but you obviously can't keep more than one FLEX+1 channel in your plan, during any calendar month, or perhaps 30-day period.
