Transfer applications from old Galaxy S4 to new Galaxy S7

Hi. I took part in the Rogers Galaxy S7 promotional upgrade. So I do not have my old phone.

Is there somewhere [from Google maybe?] where I can find out which applications I had installed.

[A while back I had to reset my S4 and after logging into Samsung & Google accounts the applications came back.]

When you go into Google play, go into My apps. That's where it will tell you all the applications u had before on all ur Android devices or which apps u had downloaded and used.

Go into the Play store - My Apps and games - All. That's where it should be unless u are using a new Google account.

That only means two possible things. Either u made a new Google account which at this point u can't get anything back to how it was or when u signed out of ur Google account u must have erased them. There is no other explanation to this. I would contact Google directly and see what they say.

Nope. same account. My new and old phone are both listed in my Google account.

Under apps I get the message "You haven't granted any apps or websites access to your Google Account."

That said, it isn't that necessary. I got most of my apps back that i know I use.

As for contacting Google, probably less painful to have root canal!

Hmm that could be the reason why the apps never got backed up i guess!.

Which is still odd since I had to reset my S4 a couple of months ago and my applications came back.
