Hey everyone!
As you noticed today Samsung announced the Galaxy Note 5. I watched the announcement at work while it was going on. Here are some specs on it!
Rogers will be selling it for $359.99 on a 2-year term, $860 no-term and the reservation system will be open as of August 14th.
Rogers will be releasing this device ON August 21st in 32GB sapphire black it seems but hopefully they add the more GB later on.

i did a factory reset yesterday and worked. iam not going to factory resest my s6 edge all the time just for that. could be that there is a bug in 5.1.1

That... seems weird.
Technically speaking... wouldn't you be able to return the phone and get the reserved one? That makes no sense to me...
but then again, I don't know the store policy.
You could however, speak to the manager and request an exception to be made. Since you did reserve it, and it did come for you under your name.
This is my opinion, I don't know how they will work that out...
But sounds silly, especially if you are under 15 days buyer's remorse - they can usually override it. Your expectation is correct however, and per standard policy that would be the case. If you speak to the manager, and say "sure, let me return this phone, and i'll get that one" which is the SAME PHONE - usually the manager would see the silly logic behind it and override it instead... unless they track IMEI for the reservation with the charger...
I have had this before, because some store agent sold the reserved phone (that was under my name) to some customer, as a mistake... the manager got my SureTap $50 mastercard on another phone instead (same model).
Just... a thought.

You could but if you are within the 15 days / 30 minute rule. The store can process the return back & sell the reservation model to the customer afterwards.
Most of the times i would say 98% of the times the stores & store managers will NOT do that as its the customers responsibility to wait for their reservation if they want the free product with it. The store manager can do it but it can only happen when the upgrade goes through. Again most of the times you will get told " No" as you already did ur upgrade with store stock.
In all they do not want to do it because for one it takes time to process the return & the resell the reservation one just for a free gift that the customer was aware & could have waited. That is how they see it thus why they do not do it. They rather give u a small discount on the product & u buy it instead or they will say they can not do anything.
