Okay, thanks for the update.
What device is the person receiving your call using?
Have you, or are you able to received a video call?
It's possible the person you are calling does not have video calling provisioned on their account.
Thanks,
RogersAliciaG

For those still waiting on their reserved devices, I just thought I'd let you know that I just received notification a few minutes ago that my device has shipped.
Not really sure if it's relevant but I was number 18 in line before the status changed to in progress on Monday August 21st.

some time last week before mine changed to in progress I was 155 and 156, got notice tonight that now shipped and should arrive by EOD Friday
let's hope the chargers are coming with the Note 5 in the same shipment!

You are asking the wrong forums my friend. This is Rogers not Bell. Ask them on their Bell facebook page or contact them. No one knows here.

Well, I was 268 for the Note 5 and it is now shipped. They waited until the last day of the " within 15 days " commitment. All signs points to the reservation system being used as a staging for upgrades and cycling inventory through to hopefully capture new activations first.
While you may want to use the reservation system as a backup, if you want a phone on launch day, looking more and more like you're back to standing in line ( assuming there's a line ) at the Rogers store, and that's IF they will allow inventory for anything other than new activations. Hello iPhone folks looking towards the launch later this month.........
Anyway...... Merry Xmas and happy Samsung devices to all ( who are receiving their devices today )......

The iPhone launch was like this every year. I took care of those threads so it's known to be like this and same as the Note series.
Well it's good to see everyone getting their devices and enjoying them!!

@Meowmix, correct me if I'm wrong, but I was also part of all the iPhone reservation issues over the years and the main driver of not getting devices on launch day was supply from Apple, not Rogers holding inventory. Apple has always had supply issues at launch, and likely always will.
The launch issues of the Note 5 and Edge+ is not necessarily a supply issue from Samsung, at least not with Rogers.

Apple doesn't have supply issue.
Apple holds back supply to create intense desire in their fandom. It creates "I have it and you don't" scenario... so everyone tries to get it first.
That is all...
Samsung, may or may not be pulling the same stunt. They are horrible at copying apple... imo.

Yes u were. So u know how the reservation works. It wasn't only Apple supplying Rogers. It also had to do with Rogers allocate the devices to their stores, business accounts, reservations, new activation, online orders, over the phone upgrades and orders. so even if they get a big amount, it still goes to different places.
Nonetheless Apple is to blame for the launches lol
