Hello everyone. I was hoping i could get some opinions on what happened to me the other day.
I went into a Rogers store to upgrade my phone. I went in with my heart set to get an s7 edge. Then the guy started saying he doesn't recommend it and that the G5 is a better phone in every aspect and that Samsung is starting to fail when it comes to phones now. Then i said my biggest thing is i want better battery life. He said the G5 is better for battery life. So. Without even thinking about it, I trusted him. Now everything im looking at. The S7 edge has quite a bit more battery life. Ive already set up the G5 and am pretty content with it. But the battery life isnt fantastic and I'm not sure if I'd be happier with the S7 edge. Cause I can go in and switch phones. But I don't want to cause much of a hassle and I've already bought a screen protector and case for 50$ at rogers at the same time. Which i don't think I can return. I would appreciate if anyone could give me some opinions on this situation.
Thank you.

I would return the phone, if you care for battery life then best phone would be the Google Pixel. But Rogers wireless return policy is over 30mins of airtime cannot be returned.

I said the Google Pixel because the Samsung Exynos/Shannon Modem has issues with Rogers Network. There are a lot of Samsung S7 / S7 EDGE users, and me personally that have had issues with Exynos/Shannon on Rogers.
Devices that use Qualcomm don't suffer from this issue, which is why I recommended the Pixel, and it's also better than the G5. Or if he can wait then get the Galaxy S8, it's going to use a Qualcomm Modem in North America.
