Hello,
I am going to be away from home for about 2 weeks and was wondering if it's possible to check my @rogers.com email from my cellular phone

While the settings/screens may be slightly different based on your exact android version on the phone.. these instructions should likely help.

Hey there @adlc58
What phone are you using? It depends on that.
Secondly, if your phone is a smartphone of anysort, would you have Wifi in the area you are going? Do you have a data plan?
Are you within Canada or travelling abroad?
Any details helps to get you the answer you require.
But the answer to your question is: Yes; you can. To give you a more tailored response from the Community user's and Resident Experts (REs), we need to know what phone you are using, and will you have data/wifi access?
Cheers.

Thank you for your response. I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 phone and there will be wifi available at certain locations. I do have a data plan and I'll be travelling within Ontario. I am currently job seeking and will need to be able to monitor my home email account through Rogers.

Good Morning,
I just wanted to let you know I tried the instructions you sent me, and followed them exactly, but received an error message saying "Unable to set up account. Authentication failed."
Any suggestions?

You could also download the Yahoo mail app and set up your email through that, as Rogers email is run through Yahoo. I use it frequently on my Android phone.

Authentication failed.. would me part of the info you entered in for the account is likely wrong.
Username - should be your full rogers email address
Password - the password you use to log into the rogers webmail
(assuming all the other info was entered correctly)
The yahoo app is another good idea 🙂
