When i try to send an SMS message to someone it fails to send. If that person texts me first, then I can send them SMS messages successfully. Tried this with multiple contacts. Note, this is not Imessage related. I tried resetting network settings on my Iphone 11. Rogers also reset my connection via tech support. They escalated it and I was told by an automated message the next day that everything seems fine on their end.

Welcome to our Community, and thank you for your post. It’s certainly an unusual situation, and I appreciate the steps you’ve already taken, such as resetting network settings and contacting tech support. When was the last sending text messages worked for you?
Do you have access to another phone? Sometimes, reseating the SIM card can resolve communication issues. If possible, insert your SIM card into another compatible phone and test sending SMS messages from there.
If the problem persists, consider visiting a nearby Rogers Store. They can further diagnose the issue and, if necessary, replace your SIM card.
