How Do I Remove Call Forwarding?

Shahnisarg28
I've been around

I had changed the call forwarding to a number other than the voicemail for a short while and now I can't go back. How do I change call forwarding to my voicemail? Ps: I tried putting the voicemail number and it does not go to my voicemail.

Good morning @Shahnisarg28,

Welcome to the Rogers Community Forums! This is a great question, thank you for posting it! 😊

If you have voicemail included in your plan, then you most likely initiated the feature to forward ALL calls. Some customers only like their calls to be forwarded in specific scenarios and can make rules to suit their personal needs.

Please see below for instructions on how to disable the Call Forwarding feature if it's no longer needed:

**Call Forward all calls**

  • Turn on: Dial *21*(10-digit phone number)# Send
  • Temporarily turn off (number is stored): Dial #21# Send
  • Turn back on: Dial *21# Send
  • Cancel: Dial ##21# Send
  • Check status: Dial *#21# Send

Call Forward only when your number is busy

  • Turn on: Dial *67*(10-digit phone number)# Send
  • Temporarily turn off (number is stored): Dial #67# Send
  • Turn back on: Dial *67# Send
  • Cancel: Dial ##67# Send
  • Check status: Dial *#67# Send

Call Forward only if the call isn’t answered

  • Turn on: Dial *61*(10-digit phone number)# Send
  • Temporarily turn off (number is stored): Dial #61# Send
  • Turn back on: Dial *61# Send
  • Cancel: Dial ##61# Send
  • Check status: Dial *#61# Send

Call Forward only if your number is unreachable (e.g. not connected to a cellular network)

  • Turn on: Dial *62*(10-digit phone number)# Send
  • Temporarily turn off (number is stored): Dial #62# Send
  • Turn back on: Dial *62# Send
  • Cancel: Dial ##62# Send
  • Check status:Dial *#62# Send

Call Forward if the number is busy, the call isn’t answered, or your number is unreachable

  • Turn on: Dial *004*(10-digit phone number)# Send
  • Temporarily turn off (number is stored): Dial #004# Send
  • Turn back on: Dial *004# Send
  • Cancel: Dial ##004# Send
  • Check status: Dial *#004# Send

I hope this helps! Please let us know the outcome!
