So this isn't new but why is it so hard to get the same deal as new customers do,
i have to play the game just to get the same deal.
I pay 80 for 100gb which was a good deal but its not good when I don't need that much or wana to pay for things I'm not using.
I don't need a new phone as I'm happy with what I have, but to get the new 55/month plan I have to upgrade to get that plan.
I recently realized I'm not using the 100gb that I have right now so was looking to get less for less but they can't seem to offer me anything less than $70 a month and what with a $20/gb in overcharge if I went over the 50gb it comes with.
why can't I pay $40 for 50gb a month?

I don't have a Rogers cell plan, but I get many $60 month offers from Rogers for more data than I would need.
I think Freedom has a $50 deal for 40 GB month, but often add extra data randomly each year or two, for loyal customers. Rogers might do the same thing to keep people from switching providers as often.
Perhaps if you check other providers, you can find your desired $40 for 50GB or more, that Rogers might match if you speak to the Retentions dept.
You can also keep checking your My Rogers account to see if any new exclusive deals pop up for you.
