billing dates change

Rodneyfrancis1
I've been here awhile

I have gone to their office, called their phone help line, and e mailed them, regarding changing my billing date.  I am on a fixed income, so my bill is always a few days late. Not only to they charge me, but have the nerve to send me notices that I am late! They changed it from the 27th to 22nd...again, I am a senior citizen, and no one has an answer for me.

Hello @Rodneyfrancis1,

Welcome to the Community!

The recent changes to payment due dates were made to ensure that our customers aren’t penalized for the payment posting timelines of financial institutions i.e. the time it takes for the payment to be posted into our system by the financial institutions.

Of course we understand we have customers who may be on financial assistance and monthly programs. In such scenarios we would review the accounts on a case by case basis.

Please send us a private message @CommunityHelps so we can assist you further.

How can you say changing the payment dates help when I am always late on my payments...you r not helping me...I am a senior....we get paid at the end of the month!...please stop handling me...change my payments back to the 27th. thank you

Re: billing dates change

Hello @Rodneyfrancis1 ,

Thanks so much for joining in on the conversation. I understand the importance of keeping to a strict payment schedule, especially if you are on a tight budget.

If you are currently on Auto-pay with a credit card or through your bank, the monthly billing cycle you are on will determine which date your payment will get withdrawn. If you are unhappy with the current payment withdrawal date, we'd be more than happy to review your options with you to find something more suitable.

To get started, we'll ask that you send us a Private Message @CommunityHelps. You may find the instructions on how to do so by clicking here

Kind regards,

RogersYasmine

Sure...I arranged to have my payment due date/billing cycle changed to better allow me to pay my hefty Rogers bill on time and to coincide with my pay cycle.  So Rogers "helps" us by reducing the time between payment cycles and due dates but won't help with altering the billing cycle again.  It's the least they could do to help struggling customers with exorbitantly high bills
