Price Hike 12.7% for Cell Service

Gumbey
I plan to stick around

Just got my bill. Price jumped from $55 to $62. I'm a fairly new customer. Switched to Rogers in June because they offered $55 a month for 24 months. Time to switch back at $50 month for same service. Time for the CRTC to do their job.

Good morning @Gumbey!

This rate change helps support ongoing investments we are making to provide the best possible products and services, technology, and support for our customers. We notified customers of this rate increase with a bill message.

We continue to invest in our network to increase capacity and ensure we are delivering reliable services to our customers.

We’ve invested heavily in our tools to make it simpler and faster to interact with us.

We have built tools for our technical teams to monitor the quality of customer connections and proactively detect and resolve network issues or engage customers to resolve connectivity and WiFi issues in their homes.

Regards,

RogersCorey

I've been here awhile

Hi RogersCorey...

If Rogers is advertising a specific price for 24 months, is this not now considered a contract?

Thanks

Nevermind, it's all in the Terms and Conditions.  Sigh.

Thanks for the info Corey. I’m now paying $50 a month. With the savings I can afford another 2 shares of Rogers stock. It’s already gone up 5% this year.
