Please stock the ignite modems in the Rogers store

I've been here awhile

Please stock the ignite modems in the Rogers store. Its inconvenient to wait days until a technician can arrive to simply provide me with a modem. I will not have service for days now because I have to wait for a technician to provide me with a modem whereas I could have driven to a store and picked up a new one within minutes. Will Rogers compensate me for the inconvenience and days I havent used their service?

Congratulations on your first post and a warm welcome to the Community! 🙌 We're sorry to hear about the inconvenience this has caused. Is this for a new activation or are you migrating from our legacy service(s) over to Ignite?

 

With our new Ignite service, we have three options with regards to the equipment delivery: Ignite Express Setup Courier via Delivery or Appointment or Ignite Pro-Install

 

Rest assured, we would only begin billing you from the date of activation. We appreciate you taking the time out to provide us with your feedback!

I've been here awhile
No, I’m an existing customer. My modem went down and I needed a replacement modem. I know in the past with older modems they would be stocked at the store. This made it easier to get a replacement. Why are the ignite modems not stocked in store? I think its absurd to wait 2 days without internet or TV. I used 10gb of my mobile data hotspotting thanks to Rogers again not being reliable.

Yes, I have the replacement modem. I know the modems have a tendency to break down within a few months and hope this issue will be resolved by then and the modems will be stocked in the stores.
