New Rogers plan Includes Travel

Hello,

I recently got an offer to upgrade my phone plan to include Travel... the offer said blah blah +Travel. approx $20 more per month.

I upgraded and took many chat hours to stipulate and validate my understanding of the offer... this upgrade provide.... more blah blah blah plus ROAMING (roam like home) in specific countries. Here is what I confirmed and reconfirmed... while in a covered country, I can make calls, texts, whatapp to numbers within the country and to Canada at zero extra cost! Unbelievable offer.... from $15 a day to $20 a month! 

I am now in these specific countries and I keep getting messages that I am roaming and dditional charges apply.

Can anyone confirm how this +Travel upgrade works? Has anyone used it?

I have ran into an issue in the past where more than one sales associates stated roaming was included for a plan when they were actually referring to Roam Like Home. Personally, I think this is deceptive! When a customer asks if roaming is included, at least from my (the customer's perspective). I am asking if roaming is included with my monthly and doesn't incur any extra charges.

Customers inquiring about roaming should always specify that they do not mean, Roam Like Home, which is an additional charge per daily use, just to be 100% clear until Rogers makes more of an effort to be more transparent in if the cost of roaming is included with their plan or whether that roaming is an addition cost on top of their monthly plan.
