I have been trying to solve the $2.62 issue with Rogers, but it seems like 18 years of business relationship got to an end. The bill says, i should pay on November 10, which my bank release the money that day, but Rogers disagrees and charged me $2.62 for late payment.
I contacted Rogers but they insist that the payment was late. I don't pay late payments, because i don't pay my bills late, therefore I am moving to a new provider and left Rogers to proof that i paid late when the bill says November 10 and my bank statement says November 10.

As everyone who deals with a bank knows, it can take several days (usually 3-5 business days) for a payment to get from the bank to Rogers (or any other Payee). The bank clearly states this when you make your payment.
I think you'll find that Rogers bills have a due date. That is not the same as the date when you tell your bank to pay.
Here's a previous thread on the topic and my comments on how to avoid these sorts of issues.
A copy of the post follows:
I avoid all these issues by having all my bills, including Rogers on Auto-Withdrawal. This keeps my money in my "account" until the payment due date and I never have to worry about payments, especially when travelling.
On top of this, I (Auto) pay my Rogers bill using my Credit Card, which happens to be a Rogers MasterCard. This means I get to keep my money for almost another month when the Credit Card payment comes due and it's automatically withdrawn from my bank account. I even get cash back on my Rogers MasterCard for my Rogers Bills.
I see absolutely no negatives to this approach and numerous positives.

There are many complaints about late fees (for all companies), but read this related Rogers thread entitled (use the search bar at the top of this page to find it quickly) : Internet - Late payment charge for online payments.
Just because Rogers warns at the bottom of its bills, that you should pay early to avoid being charged a late fee, that doesn't mean that you can't overturn it.
If you pay through the bank on your due date, the bank should be willing to provide Rogers the proof it needs. However, you may unfortunately need to bang your head up against the wall, and choose to Contact Rogers, via the Contact Us link at the bottom of this page, and then scroll down to "Share a Concern." This shows Rogers that you are willing to fight back, even if it means you will get a concussion.
The problem is with the Rogers billing system, however, if your bank considers same day bill payments to be made before a specific time (often 5 or 6pm), that can make things a bit sketchy if you paid after the time deadline, even on the proper due date.
As mentioned by a moderator in another thread, you can ask Rogers to have your due date changed to a more convenient date, when your money will be there several days before.
Even better, even if you don't have a credit card, you can use your bank Visa debit card or MasterCard debit card on the Rogers website, even on your due date, to avoid a late fee. Just be aware that you might be double-billed on rare occasions (it happened to me once), so it's best to have twice as much in your bank account (thus a Credit card is best).
If Rogers wants to fix its billing system, so that bills are not processed until 3 days after the billing date, or instead make it clear that if the customer wants to wait until the same day, or just a few days before the due date, the customer MUST use the Rogers website to pay the bill, so that the payment will be immediately accepted by its billing system.
What's next? ... In order to avoid a late fee appearing on your Rogers bill, please pay your bill at least 7 business days before your due date. Only then will our billing dept. be willing to overturn any late fee you encounter.
Hypocrites honour with their lips, but their hearts are far away (yes, I just stole that from the movie - A Christmas Present - that was playing on my tv). 🎁
Keep in mind, that if you switch to another company, even during the joyous Christmas time of year, instead of getting a visit from a jolly Santa Claus, be prepared to deal with an annoying billing dept. that informs you that the only Santa that exists on your holiday bill is the Santa clause, that can lead to the cancellation of your account, and the shocking realization that the real Santa got run over by a reindeer. 🎅🐂

its not rogers problem that banks take days to process a payment, if your rent is due on the 1st of the month and you pay the bank your rent it will take a few days for the rent to go through! Same thing! that's why there is a DUE DATE

Did you know, you can pay your rogers bill thru a Bank (Your Financial Institution), or you can bypass the Financial institution completely and pay rogers directly?
The difference is paying at a Bank, they take your payment and can often take 2-3 days before they pass it onto the institution you are paying it towards.
If you pay your bill directly thru Rogers weather it is online, or over the phone, or at a corporate store that accepts payments, they will receive the money and apply it to your account right away in most cases.
Rogers records the bill as paid when they're system receives the money. So if the bank takes a few days to forward it to rogers, then rogers will record the payment when the bank hands it off to Rogers. There is no way around this, This is well known in the banking industry, every merchant tells you payments can take extra days when paying thru an FI. The moral of the story? just pay it early, you can also some good suggestions is to request a different billing cycle date.

Of course, this brings up the question of "Where does my money go for three or four days until the bank actually hands over the cash to whatever company we're talking about" Does it go for a vacation on the French Riviera, or crash on a beach somewhere in the Caribbean? I'd like an answer to that question?
Its interesting that banks always manage to charge your credit card on the day that you use the card, but, somehow your money manages to take a holiday or detour to some other destination before it hits the company that its aimed at.
And, just to note, some banks are much faster than others when it comes to handing over your hard earned dollars to the company that you're trying to pay.

Here's my answer to exactly that question from a previous similar thread:
As indicated by several people in this thread and also in the thread linked above, there are many ways to avoid late payment charges. Remember "You can't fight city hall." (at least 99% of the time) 😉

If the bank really messed up a rent payment, you might get one of those Eviction notices on your door, perhaps about 5 days after the rent is due. Calls to the RENTentions agent for mercy, often fail. Rogers just tacks on a late fee, and perhaps in the near future, will start deleting random cloud recordings until the late fee ransom is paid. Now that's what I call motivation to pay up pronto. Sorry buddy, but your last payment was 7 hours late, so Say hello to Anna, and goodbye to 7 hours of random cloud recordings. Good luck trying to figure out which episodes Anna randomly deleted. Oh yeah, she also added 7 hours of ad time to any On Demand title you try to watch.
No, please Anna, not the cloud recordings! Take my wife, please! Show some mercy!
Anna is watching ... And deleting. She knows if you've been bad or good, so be good for goodness sake.
Anna says: Thank you for not paying Rogers. Now Show Me the Money, honey! 📼🔨💰

I paid last invoice 3 days later, since I was sick, and yo my surprise Rogers put through late payment charge $7 08. That is 1% per day - highway robbery or usury. 350% on annual basis, which is illegal.
When we hade extensive outages last October, Rogers reps dragged out communication for so long, and changed names, so that I was forced to repeat everything all over every time. Finally stopped responding, so never received any credit for over a week of no service - at least $ 50.
Now this.
I am going to look at Bell, or other provider, since Rogers is not really servicing customers, just gouging them.
