Looking for best way to validate a Rogers employee who requires an existing active mobile rogers account holder to provide two pieces of photo id via email (email is not the most secure due to no control over the route it takes, meaning its contents can be exposed) . Not sure why they can not use my current long term account info to add the internet offer.
Has what I believe to be a legit corporate email - rci.rogers.com
Any advice how to work with such sales teams walking door to door with a great offer? Location London Ontario.

Good evening @fishsnacks,
Welcome to the Rogers Community and thank you for your post!
If the agent was not able to retrieve your existing account using your phone number, it can be because these agents use different tools than our customer service does.
But I can understand the concern of providing any sensitive identification through email and I would want to ensure that I was speaking with an actual employee too. The.rci.rogers.com is a legitimate email address but you never can be too cautious.
Were you provided with any contact details to reach back out for further information?
You can also send us a private message to @CommunityHelps and we can look into this for you as well. For more information on how our Private Messaging system works, please check out our blog.
