Credit Check After Being a Customer for 10 Years

I was with Rogers Mobile from 2011 to 2021 and switched over to Shaw. Forced to transition over to Rogers and was told they would NOT do a credit check since I was a returning customer. Just checked my report and there is Rogers with an open account on my credit report. For my $25 per month bill!

I hope you're enjoying the new service despite this specific concern. External evaluation is processed for returning customers with old account(s) depending on the account status. 

A credit evaluation is performed to determine which products and services a customer can activate and the conditions the account has to meet to reduce credit and fraud risks.
