I've been around

As if rogers needs more money !  Recently they up'd the price for boxes,  which in itself 

was ridiculous , but I am informed today that when you sign up for a new bundle ( in hopes of saving money)  you will e charged 15.00 per month if you cancel before the contract has ended. 

 

if I move to new province, too bad 

If I get kicked out of a rental ,  too bad

If I find a better deal, too bad 

If I die,   not sure , likely too bad !

 

Disgraceful gouging of the consumer !

The cancellation charge only applies if you sign up for a contract for say 2 years, in which case there are usually good savings available. If you're concerned about cancelling, then simply go month by month, but be prepared for higher pricing per month.

I've been around

Very disappointed with Rogers service, I had been asked to move my service to new house. Rogers did not have service in the area, I had been paid for two months with out service and I have to paid for early cancellation fees. I don’t understand why I have to paid for early cancellation fees when Rogers did not have service in the area. I had been contact Rogers many times since last December but my issue never resolved. I did spoke to few managers, they keep told me to wait for office president to contact. One person told they will call me before 5pm same day, other manager told 3 business days, other manager told me 3-5 and recently I had been told will be more than 5 business day depend on priority of the issue. This is very frustrating, I can’t believe Rogers customer service management team did not have authorized to deal to with early cancellation fees.
