Cancellation due to non serviceable area

Emma13
I've been around

When i extended my internet plan last year, asked the representative if there would be cancellation fee due to moving out within 2years and she said no! Even had a chat with another representative a few weeks ago regarding the samethings, he said no because it is no rogers service area.

Today I called to cancel, I was told yes there is cancellation fee!! When I spoke to the manager, he was blaming on me that I did not read the contract, no other company read the contract to the customer. OK. But no other companies give whatever info to customers which can lead the huge trouble and just blame on us
Then why are you guys there to 'HELP US' even YOU don't know what is on the contract
This company needs to train employees properly especially when it comes to CONTRACT BY LAW

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE ROGERS

The thing us... You are the customer. You have to agree to the terms of the contract to get promotion. You didn't have to agree to another contract to continue your service at a higher price.  It is on you to know and understand what you are agreeing to. If you don't. Don't agree to it!
